Addicted to Media Players

Some people are addicted to gambling, or drinking. I am addicted to music. My most important thing is my mp3 player, and I never leave home without it. Not even when going jogging, or to the market. I feel like something's missing if I don't have it with me. Even though it's gotten quite old, I don't feel the need for a newer one.

However, things don’t always turn out the way you want them to, and my tale begins, and ends, at the supermarket. I had just bought some things for the house, including an abnormally large trash bin, and I was just reaching for my wallet, when my headphone cable got tangled up in something, and my mp3 player fell out of my pocket.

When I saw it break into pieces upon hitting the ground, I knew I wasn’t going anywhere until I got a replacement. So back I went again, straight to the isle I knew mp3 players were on. One thing that surprised was that none looked like my old one. They all sported color screens and were quite big. I had no idea what to choose.

I decided to go for the one that was currently on sale, the creative zen v plus 2gb , hoping it was a good deal. The lady at the cash register told me they had sold very quickly, and that I was lucky to catch one. I figured since people were so interested in it, it must be good. My player was a nice green color, that I really liked too.

My decision seems even better now, after some time has passed and I've become more used to the player. It has so many things that my previous player didn't have, that I wonder how I've lived without them for so long. The sound quality is also far superior to my older player, and I can't even begin to compare them, when it comes to design. Another one of my great choices!
